How do I know if my school is currently being supplied by LunchOrders?

A list of schools currently being serviced and schools who have already committed to future launch dates can be found here on our registration page or here on our School info page.

 

How do I know which days LunchOrders are operating at my school?

The calendar days that LunchOrders are available at your school will be highlighted when you go to select a delivery date. That means that no order will be able to be processed on days we don’t deliver.  You can also refer to our school info page here to check what days and times your school will be accepting LunchOrders deliveries.

 

By what time do I have to place the order to ensure it gets processed in time?

The cut off times for same day delivery is 8:30am.  Orders won’t be able to be entered for that day after this time. 

 

How do I know the order has been received?

You will receive an email confirming that each of your orders have been placed and received by the LunchOrders team.

 

How do I cancel or edit an order?

The only way to edit an order is to use the CANCEL button on your MY ACCOUNT page or within the individual order and then place a new order with the correct information.  Please note that the CANCEL button will only appear next to orders before 8:30am for the same day.  Orders cannot be cancelled after 8:30am.

 

What happens if I cancel an order after the cut off time?

You won’t be able to cancel any orders after the 8:30am cut off time. We suggest you let the school know or make alternative arrangements for another child to collect the lunch.

 

How does my child receive the order?

Every school has a different lunch order distribution operation. Most schools will use a system to distribute the LunchOrders from the office to your child’s classroom. That is why it is essential to supply us with your child’s room number. If the school does not have a system to deliver to the classroom our LunchOrders delivery personnel will ensure that the orders are delivered directly to the classroom door.  More delivery information for each school can be viewed here.

 

What time does the order get dropped off at my child’s school?

Lunch boxes are delivered before morning tea and any other order will be delivered at lunch time.  You can also refer to our school info page here to check what days and times your school has chosen to accept LunchOrders deliveries.

 

Who prepares and supplies the food?

Our food is prepared by chef’s at our certified commercial kitchen on Dominion Rd in Hamilton.

 

How far in advance can I place an order?

You can order up to around a month in advance. However payment will be processed and deducted from your account as soon as you place the order.

 

My child has left school. How do I refund my account credit?

Email us at toby@lunchorders.co.nz and request for your money to be refunded to your bank account. We will refund the money overnight through a direct transfer.

 

How can I get LunchOrders at my school?

If you would like to have LunchOrders at your school Register your Interest here and we will approach your school principal and partner with you to get LunchOrders delivering to your child’s classroom door.

 

How do you pay for the orders?

Your LunchOrders account gets topped up through a credit card and the money in the account is then used to pay for the order.

 

Are the Credit Card facilities secure?

We use SwipeHQ to process our credit card payments. Swipe complies with global Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI PTS 3.x). Data is SSL encrypted and securely transferred to their McAfee monitored secure servers. To read more about SwipeHQ click here

 

How do I update my child’s delivery details?

Once you’ve logged in you can update your childs delivery details under the ‘My Account’ tab .

 

I’ve lost my password. How do I retrieve it?

Simply click on the ‘forgot your password’ link when you go to log in and you will be able to generate a new password.
